How do I add my printer to home network? - add printer to home network

My desktop computer with Windows XP and Windows Vista laptop. I have tried every way I can add my printer (HP PSC 1200) to the network, but still can not print from the laptop. It is connected to the computer via USB. I enabled sharing on both computers, install the driver on both of them, of course, by the printer appears as a device on the wireless router, but nothing work. Can anyone help?
